About me

Theertha Ramkumar is a Year 10 student at an international school in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is the only child of Ramkumar A R, a professional in the Oil and Gas sector, and Geeji Ramkumar, who is a full-time homemaker.

Her interests have shifted over time—from taekwondo and ballet during primary school days to contemporary dance, hip hop, and eventually theatre in high school. She has also consistently been a member of the school choir at every school she’s attended. She has a deep love for both Psychology and Biology, and just as her subject interests span a diverse range, so does her choice of companionship—she often finds herself connecting more with elders and young children than with her peers.

She treasures the time spent with her grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins, seeing them as her most precious assets. The strong bonds she has built with them stand among her proudest achievements. Every visit feels like opening a Pandora’s box, filled with captivating stories and unforgettable experiences that continually spark her inspiration.

Her passion for the medical field is deeply rooted in the close bond she shares with her grandfather, Dr. P. V. Gopinathan, whom she affectionately regards as her greatest role model and inspiration. The stories and experiences he has shared have kindled a genuine curiosity within her, motivating her to delve deeper into the world of medicine.
